Healing for the body, mind, emotions, and energy
Hello,
I’m Valentina Ochoa.
Integrative somatic therapist, yoguini, and dietitian nutritionist
I support body healing processes through an integrative approach, where the physical body, emotions, mind, and energy are understood as an interconnected whole.
I integrate evidence-based nutrition, therapeutic yoga, and Chinese medicine to address the root of what your body may be communicating: pain, weight challenges, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, fear, anger, stress, depression, or hormonal, digestive, and autoimmune conditions.
I bring my clinical perspective, medical intuition, and investigative mindset into service of your body’s healing process.

Hormonal, digestive & autoimmune conditions

We have different bodies or layers of being — koshas, as they are called in yoga — and when we truly want to heal, we need to create synergy among all of them.
Pain, fatigue, weight changes, insomnia, or anxiety are often expressions of an imbalance that began before manifesting physically: in the mental, emotional, or energetic body.
Every symptom is a conversation between the body, energy, emotion, thought, and consciousness.
We are the divine
We work with the root cause.
We don’t separate mind and body.
We integrate them.
We don’t create dependency.
We cultivate autonomy.
We don’t force or punish.
We listen.
We don’t try to do more.
We focus on what is precise.
We create process, personalization, and coherence.

Testimonials
“I used to feel trapped in a cycle of weight fluctuations, trying diets that didn’t respect my body. Valentina helped me understand how to balance my portions and how to sustain an eating pattern that works long term. I was able to lower my body fat percentage in the first month. She also supported me with my nutrition during my first pregnancy and with my brother’s transition to a plant-based diet.”
Ángela
“I had never felt that someone truly understood my relationship with food. Even though I didn’t have major issues, I felt I could improve, reduce inflammation in my body, and bring more balance to my mind. I had seen several nutritionists before, but their plans were generic and not personalized. Valentina was different: she took the time to understand my story and my habits, and from the very beginning I felt heard and supported.”
Carlos
“Before my consultation with Valentina, I didn’t know how to improve my sleep problems. I constantly felt exhausted. During the consultation I felt calm, and every step was explained clearly. I noticed immediate improvements in my sleep after the first session.”
Madu
“I was experiencing a lot of fatigue, interrupted sleep, and low energy throughout the day. I was diagnosed with anemia and didn’t know how to improve my energy while following a vegetarian diet. Valentina helped me address my anemia and fatigue while respecting my way of eating. I also appreciate her multimodal approach — it’s not a traditional consultation. From the very first session, she integrates somatic work with nutrition education and Chinese medicine in a very interesting way.”

My own path taught me that I cannot heal my physical body without integrating my mind and emotions. Many of the discomforts I experienced in my body began there — in a negative mind and in disturbing emotions.
At 19, I struggled with my weight and with my menstrual cycle. This led me to study Nutrition and Dietetics. During my twenties, I went through autoimmune symptoms, anxiety, depression, and stress, as well as intense emotions such as fear, anger, and frustration, shaped by a complex family environment and by growing up with a mother who had psychiatric conditions. I also experienced a miscarriage, which awakened in me a deep interest in menstrual and women’s health.
My emotional and physical pain led me to seek refuge in yoga and meditation, and to explore bioenergetic and integrative medicines such as Chinese medicine and plant-based nutrition. Along this path I have gradually purified myself, healing my body and freeing my mind and emotions from unnecessary suffering. My search also led me to meet my Guru and to recognize the divinity present in all creation, even in illness.
Today I understand that my suffering was part of my karma and also part of my purpose. I came to this earth to purify myself and to accompany others in their own process of purification — in other words, to heal myself and to support others on their path of healing.
